The location of the apartment is great, in one of the most vibrant quarters of Amsterdam, just a few steps from the 'De Pijp' Subway station, which is a very short commute from the airport. You can even see the street market in Albert-Cuypstraat, but you will not hear it. The area has everything, even a park, which is rare in Amsterdam and good restaurants, notably 'Brasserie Neo', just a few steps away. The apartment is privately-owned and lived-in, but very nice and airy. As a cherry on top it has a roof terrace with views over Amsterdam. Our host was very helpful and arrived in-person at the property. We had a great stay.
Most historic apartment buildings in Amsterdam hve very steep stairs and no elevator. This building is no exception. Also, the bed in the living room is recommended for children, less so for full-grown adults.

The location was excellent, just a short walk from the museum districts and the many restaurants in De Pijp. A metro stop is also nearby. The rooms were spacious by Amsterdam standards.
The stairs to the apartment were quite narrow, but this is common in historic Amsterdam buildings
