Mango Hostel - 420 Friendly

Now, i will always go to this hostel. I dis not find any negative thing to say. The personnel is wonderful

Mango 420 friendly hostel is the chillist accomodation in Thailand. I've stayed at all kinds of hotels and hostels during my 6 week trip and no where but here truly felt 420 friendly. Accommodations are basic dorm style but clean and sufficient. Another of the main perks is the flatscreen TV with Netflix. There is one in my private room and one on the second floor in the living room. It's the only place I’ve stayed so far that has extensive TV shows in English. Other significant highlights include the second floor hangout spot, the dispensary on the ground floor, air conditioning and the minifridge in my room. Additional thoughtful touches I appreciated included the phone charger next to the bed, tissues in my room, a safe in my room, a hairdryer, tea kettle, blackout curtains, extra toilet paper, shampoo, and body wash. The hosts were friendly and helpful. They helped carry my heavy suitcase upstairs and answered questions about the neighborhood. There is a 24 hour coin laundromat next-door, really good coffee across the street and a great place to work on my computer, as well as a filtered water machine right outside (water is not provided for guests but only costs one to five ฿ to buy) This is the only place I’ve stayed that provided a comfortable designated smoking area. The hosts were friendly and we had friendly interactions every time we crossed paths. I felt completely safe here. It felt like apartment living with really helpful neighbors. I appreciated that there is 24 hour reception on the ground floor and that the shared living room is open until 2 AM. One thing to note is that each time I requested a grab car, the driver went to a spot directly across the street. (just something to look out for.) I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for 420 vibes! I would love to return with friends the next time I visit Thailand.
