Appartement war sehr gut. Es war alles da, was gebraucht wurde.
Erreichbarkeit war herausfordernd. Die Gegend ist noch nicht richtig erschlossen. Der Weg zum Parkhaus haben wir durch Zufall entdeckt. Wir haben auf deutsch gebucht, der nächste Kontakt über Booking.com war nur noch auf englisch oder italienisch.

Neues Appartment Laufnähe zur Mall.
Zwischen Genua Altstadt und Bocadasse gelegen. Schöne Promenade nach Bocadasse. Ruhig.
Momentan ist um das Appartmentgebäude alles eine Grossbaustelle. Nach Fertigstellung wird das sicherlich sehr schön sein. Parplatz im Parkhaus ist ca 150m weg. Bushaltestelleca. 800m.

The building and the apartment are great. The apartment is of a top quality and very comfortable and functional. The balcony is great to have drinks in the evening and dinner later.
Even though the apartment is great, there is an issue that each one will decide when reading it whether is important or not to the reader.
The issue has to do with the fact that it is an “Intelligent” apartment and everything is controls from a central console. If you are over 40 and not familiar with home automation, perhaps it will be better to check with the host of the property about this, before not having a good experience.
A simple example, is how to turn the balcony lights for the drinks and dinner that I mention before. You can only turn them on/off from the control screen. I have a strong background on this type of technologies and could figure it out rather easy. But, as I said before, if you are not familiar with this type of technology, you may have to contact the host to guide you on how to do that.
A more complex and serious example, is that you can not switch from cooling to heating as you please. There were two nights that the apartment was a little cold and there was no way we (me and the host together) could make it work. For those two nights and the mornings after, we were a little uncomfortable in the apartment.
The worst part for me, came when I was informed that the air conditioners are centrally controlled by the building and, since it is still summer, they do not work for heating. I really don’t like that. It would have been a 10/10 experience if these technological issues would’ve come up.
Something that can seriously be improved are the URL addresses to the instruction videos to dispose of the garbage and use the underground parking. Please see the picture enclosed for the automation warning and these to “user friendly” URLs.
Last but not least the 24 hour reception is nothing like the one in a hotel. They are there to minor things such as to control the access of people to the building, call a taxi and give you the keys to your apartment upon arrival if they have been so instructed.
