The room was nice, and the restaurant was good. No air-conditioning in our room but it was not hot, so no problem. In our room specifically the doorway to the bathroom was very low - about 170cm - so my husband, who is about 180cm tall, hit his head several times forgetting to duck down! The gardens were interesting and quite beautifully done.
Despite having many empty bottles of beer lined up as decorations in the restaurant, they were "out of beer" during our three day stay! But the food was nice :-)

Comfortable bed, clean, modern fixtures, tasty breakfast, pleasant garden, great views. All the houses in surrounding streets were richly adorned with Balinese decor and facades - just like temples
It is a 30 minute slog up hills from the lake, with few transport options. Quite isolated. The cabins were rather cold and damp
