We liked the property's remote and private location and the expansive view across the ocean and the sound of waves lapping on the shore. The layout of the cabana was excellent as it was possible to sit on the deck outside on the loungers or even rest in bed and enjoy the view of the ocean in front and lush garden to the side. The main room is fairly large which allowed me to set up a table for watercolour painting. We felt well looked after by Alex and especially Asih who prepared a delicious breakfast and dinner for us every day of our restful and relaxing 5 night stay there. The property is an easy 30 minute drive to the takeoff point for Menjangen Island where we enjoyed some fabulous snorkelling. The beach with it's volcanic gray sand offers some great walking especially as you can see volcanoes in Java a little further norh from the cabana and chat with the friendly locals also enjoying the beach for fishing, sport or children's activities.
The cabana needs a little maintenance eg the slow water leak in the plumbing to the toilet which meant we had to turn the tap to the toilet off and on frequently. Also the steps to the cabana are missing a handrail and this resulted in one of us having a fall, fortunately with no serious injury.
This is a predominantly a Muslim area which meant we heard the droning call to prayer several times each day, including at 4 am, although we managed to tune out to it after a couple of days. These minor problems did not detract from our delightful stay.

Se encuentra en un sitio excepcional rodeado de naturaleza y la playa enfrente. La habitación preciosa y con buenas vistas, un lugar precioso para desconectar y relajarse.
No tiene muchas opciones para comer alrededor, pero lo ideal es comprar en el supermercado y la habitación tiene cocina para no tener que depender de ningún restaurante.
