Lovely!

The owners had thought of everything that a guest might need. Very conveniently located for the bus to one of the Kumano Kodo trailheads.

A bit disappointed

Unfortunately, our stay was significantly affected by a strong rotten fish odor coming from the bedding. The smell was noticeable throughout the night and made it difficult to sleep. When we raised the issue the following morning, we were told that the smell was normal and that, as foreigners, we might simply not be accustomed to it. We found this response dismissive, particularly given how strong and unpleasant the odor was. The property ultimately offered a €25 refund on a €125 room. While the gesture was appreciated, we do not feel it adequately reflected the impact the issue had on our stay. A clean, odor-free bed is a basic expectation for any accommodation. Unfortunately, both the condition of the bedding and the way our complaint was handled left us disappointed.

Wonderful. So comfortable.

So clean and comfortable. everything you could want is though of.

We had three guests staying - but two of us took the bus for the last bit while the other one walked and arrived later. It made check in difficult as all three of us had to check in at the same time. I just pretended to be the third person - sorry guys - but I was wet with rain and we couldn’t wait.

Het verblijf is heel nieuw en daarbij schoon. Heeft een kleine zitkamer waar je heerlijk kan uitrusten en een keuken met alles wat handig is. Dichtbij de start van dag 3 van de pelgrimstocht.

Onze kamer rook een beetje vreemd (naar vis).
