The Worst Experience of My Life – Unsafe, Scam, and Harassment If I could give this place zero star

The Worst Experience of My Life – Unsafe, Scam, and Harassment If I could give this place zero stars, I would. This is not just the worst accommodation I’ve ever stayed in, it was the most frightening and violating experience of my life. From the moment I arrived, the owner tried to scam me, demanding an extra £35 “early check-in fee” simply because I arrived before 8:30 PM. That should have been my first red flag. The nightmare continued at checkout: a man came to the door at 8:00 AM, unlocked it himself without my permission, and walked straight in. I was naked at the time, and he actually recorded a video of me without my consent. When I demanded he delete it, he flat-out refused. This is beyond unacceptable – it is harassment, a total violation of my privacy, and absolutely disgusting behavior. As if that wasn’t enough, the woman owner then tried to scam me again by claiming I owed £300 for “damage” to a washing machine. I had no idea there was even a washing machine in the apartment. The apartment itself was terrifying. There was a locked door inside that the owner refused to open, and in the bathroom, the shower had a glass block screen. When I looked through it, I realized there was another room on the other side, meaning someone could see me while I showered. This place felt like a set-up for voyeurism. I was traveling alone for part of my stay, and as a woman, I have never felt more unsafe. Thankfully, my Italian boyfriend was able to join me the second night because I was so terrified, but I had no time to change hotels. This was not just a scam – it was harassment, a violation of my privacy, and a completely unsafe accommodation. No one should ever stay here. For your safety and peace of mind, avoid this place at all costs.
