The staff were so kind and friendly and went out of their way to accomodate us.
We arrived so late about 1am and they were waiting in the rain to help us with our luggage.
The check in/check out procedure was very quick.
The room we stayed in was the romantic double room with balcony overlooking the old town and city and river. It was beautiful.
The breakfast was lovely and à la carte selections which I prefer.
The staff did laundry for us.
We recommend the noodle restaurant Michelin star just downstairs and to the left of hotel.
We would definitely stay again!!!!

Beautiful place on the south side of the bridge in a very pretty old part of the city. Traditional style low level buildings with tiled roofs spill down a hillside from the main road. Lots of steep stone steps but a welcome escape from downtown Chongqing. Our room had a huge comfortable bed, good pillows, great linens. Fantastic rain shower and a luxurious bath tub in the bathroom. The room we chose had a view over the old buildings (now modern restaurants/tea houses/bars/shops). It’s a hugely popular area with tourists mainly young and fashionable…but everything closes at 10pm so no noise. You can walk across the bridge in 30 minutes to Raffles City. Only 15 minute walk from the cable car (ride over the river at night to get the lights). Just use the Didi ride hailing service in Chongqing…it’s an 8 level city built into hillsides with a staggering amount of steps and steep inclines! Fun place and don’t miss the lights at night.

The hotel is in a very good location, there are cafes and shops around everywhere. The staff were always helpful and the included breakfast was very good. The room also had useful details like wet wipes. recommend!!
