Mild Spring Boutique is truly a hidden gem on the local side of Huangshan, in Tunxi. From the moment we arrived, Jason was incredibly attentive and genuinely made sure that everything was taken care of. He even gave us a free room upgrade, which was such a lovely surprise.
Our room was very cozy, comfortable, and really well taken care of. It had air conditioning and even a projector, which made our stay feel extra special and relaxing.
He was extremely helpful with organising our trip to Yellow Mountain - from helping us get the tickets to making sure we had the right transportation, and even allowing us to leave our suitcases at the hotel while we were away. It made the whole experience so much easier and stress-free.
The hotel itself has a lovely, welcoming atmosphere, with a very good buffet breakfast and, of course, Jason’s three absolutely adorable cats! 🐱🐱🐱 You can really tell that he cares about his guests and goes out of his way to make sure everyone is happy and comfortable.
If you’re staying in Huangshan, we would definitely recommend Mild Spring Boutique. It’s a wonderful place to experience the more local side of Tunxi, with a host who truly goes the extra mile. A real hidden gem!

The hotel is nicely located in a lively area filled with various shops and restaurants. The room was spacious, clean, and has a great view of some lush greenery. The owners are exceptionally friendly, helpful, and welcoming. They helped us arrange a taxi，gave excellent recommendations, and even allowed us to use their washing machine. The breakfast was also very delicious and they have three cats who keep the hotel lively and pleasant to stay in.

The Mild Spring Boutique Hotel is an exquisite example of hospitality where the hosts provide you a comfortable stay and the personal touch. From the moment we arrived, the warm reception made us feel welcome and well cared for in the hotel and in coordinating activities during our stay. After a busy schedule, enjoying cups of their local tea was the perfect way to relax before exploring the night time activities in the nearby Liyang district and Tunxi Ancient Street. The rooms were cozy and well appointed. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. The location was also convenient to Huangshan and Xidi or Hongcun.
