False advertising, stressful check-in.

The apartment met our needs once we were finally given the correct accommodation.

We had mixed feelings about our stay. The apartment we had booked on Booking.com was advertised as a three-bedroom apartment for five people. However, upon arrival, we were initially offered a different apartment with only two bedrooms. The owner insisted that the living room counted as the third bedroom, even though the listing clearly distinguished between two-bedroom and three-bedroom apartments at different prices. When we refused and decided to cancel and leave, the host suddenly "found" the correct 3-bedroom apartment (the exact one from the photos) and checked us in. Another disappointment was the swimming pool. The in-ground pool shown in the listing photos did not exist. Instead, there was only a much smaller above-ground frame pool, which did not match our expectations based on the advertisement. After a lengthy discussion, the owner eventually provided us with the apartment that we had originally booked, which showed that it had actually been available from the beginning. After we checked out, the owner contacted us claiming that a shelf in the apartment had been damaged and asked whether we had caused it. We did not damage the shelf and had not used it. Since there was no inspection of the apartment at check-in and there were already several signs of wear and other defects in the property, we could not accept responsibility for this claim. The apartment itself was acceptable, but the overall experience was overshadowed by the discrepancies between the listing and reality, as well as the unnecessary stress caused by these situations. Future guests should carefully inspect the accommodation upon arrival and document its condition.

Peaceful retreat in Tuscany.

The property was quiet and peaceful in the middle of Tuscan vineyards. The apartment was extremely spacious.
