It was freshly painted. Kitchen area upstairs was quite new with plenty of pantry and cupboards. Everything worked. Room was fine.

There were certainly very inadequate rubbish facilities. One little flip top bin (I hate flip tops as you can only 3/4 fill them. A lift up lid is much better). Besides the bin there were two or three shopping bags full of rubbish upstairs. The council bins were grossly overflowing. For 7 or 8 rooms, one of each bin is nowhere near enough. In the upstairs kitchen, there was one cup only, and just two cereal bowls. There was food in the fridge untouched the four nights I was there, plus more on the window sill and on the bench. Nothing was ever put away out of the sink drainer. I think there was only one glass also. Unused shampoos sitting in bottom of shower tray.
