The place is extremely clean and well-maintained—I've never seen a bathroom so clean, I could literally see my reflection on the floor and faucets like a mirror! Everything is very modern, yet it still has that cozy mountain home vibe. The amenities were awesome and the breakfast good and fair. The highlight is how friendly and welcoming the hosts are. Even though the bathroom is shared, it is very well organized to ensure complete privacy and comfort. Overall, it comes highly recommended!

Chambre très confortable, hôtes super accueillants, je recommande vivement pour un arrêt sur le Kumano Kodo.

Le couple qui tient cet hébergement est très serviable et accueillant. La chambre était spacieuse et propre.
Il fut difficile pour nous d'obtenir à manger le soir. Il faut commander en avance (minimum 3 jours avant) si on veut avoir des bentos pour le soir ou pour faire le Kumano Kodo. Il y a une supérette à coté mais qui n'a pas toujours ce dont on avait besoin.

It’s in a central location fire where you end the trail that day. The shower is very good.
Basically a hostel. Share everything, (bathroom and toilet) no real facilities to cook, the bed was very uncomfortable and it is on the convergence of two roads so it is noisy outside.
