The house is spacious and well equipped. Ample parking. The host made extra effort to make guests feel welcome with some treats.
The gate to the property is very difficult to unlock from outside as the padlock is on the inside of the gate making it difficult to get the key on to unlock. it is also difficult to lock as the holes for the padlock is very small and does not align easily to get the lock through. It is dark at the property and if guests are arriving after dark the outside light should be left on for guests to see where they are going.
There is a strange fan contraption in the passage that makes a very disturbing noise. This forced us to close our bedroom door at night to keep the noise out, which then hindered air flow and despite the windows bring open made the room stuffy. We tried to unplug the fan device but that resulted in the lights going off. We ere also unable to connect to the WiFi and gave up after numerous attempts. The bedroom curtains are really weird. One window only has net curtaining and the other has net curtaining in the middle between the two curtains. This resulted in too much light coming into the room making for a less than ideal sleeping experience.
