This property was fantastic! Lots of room to spread out with a small, but well-appointed kitchen/dining area. Property owner, Riccardo, was very hospitable and met us as the parking garage (~8 minute walk to property) to help us with our bags and guide us to the accommodations. The sparkling rose, cold water, and brief introduction to Genoa that Riccardo provided were greatly appreciated. He had us very excited to explore the city and even told us about a small outdoor concert happening in some ruins the first night we arrived. He had great recommendations for food and things to do and maps to give us as well. The whole apartment was very well laid out and modern. Location in old city and close to Ferarri Plaza and waterfront was great! Would definitely stay here again!
Some folks may find the location a little overwhelming as the historic city in Genoa is under major renovations to spruce it up. We, however, enjoyed wandering and finding different streets to explore and always felt safe and comfortable. While we were aware of this when booking, just want to inform other interested guests that there are quite a few steps to get into the apartment (maybe 20) and the steps are very old marble and sloping. In addition, there are steps in the apartment up to the bedroom loft. If you have any mobility issues, this may not work for you.
