Enjoy an older home charm at this centrally-located home, where we respect diversity and inclusion. The property is in the Heart of Kansas City and not in the Suburbs. However, we are located less than 5 minutes from the Starlight Theater and the Kansas City Zoo. 12 minutes from the Royals and Arrow Head Stadium. 9 minutes away from the TMobil Center. 9 minutes from shopping and fine dining on the Plaza. 11 minutes from the Westport Entertainment District and 10 minutes from the Power & Light District. We really enjoyed our stay at this charming older home. It has lovely character and a few quirks (one step is about 2 inches shorter than the rest), but the house is well maintained and clean. Communication with the owner was clear and timely, and when we accidentally left a valuable item behind they were extremely helpful in getting it back to us. Another pleasant surprise was that there were zero checkout instructions besides lock the door. Most places I have stayed required taking out the trash, loading dishware, etc. and none of that was required here. The location is excellent for Starlight Theatre and exploring southern Kansas City. We were initially concerned about the neighborhood because of a some questionable buildings nearby, but we never had any issues or felt unsafe during our stay. One note to people with big trucks; the front driveway is quite narrow. I believe there is parking around back, but didn't realize or use it. Just have to be careful about pulling in and backing out if you are in a bigger vehicle. If I am ever in KC again I will check to stay at this place first!

Laurice’s place was perfect for our group of four women. The location was great, with easy access to wherever we wanted to go and, although it is near a busy thoroughfare, once inside, we didn’t notice any traffic noise. The street itself was not very busy. The kitchen appliances were up to date or new. It should be noted that the stairs to the second floor are steep and narrow, although our retired group managed just fine. I would book again.

House was in a rough neighborhood. They didnt have the air running so the house was very muggy when we arrived. There was an ant problem, told them about it and no one showed up for a day "due to bad weather" it was raining on and off. It wasnt that bad at all. Host was still in contact and wasnt hard to reach. Beds and couch were very basic. Same with the pillows. Bathroom had no leg room for the toilet. They're in the process of a remodel.
