The outdoor appearance was poor which made us very leery to stay there. We had paid already so had to take a look. We were pleasantly surprised by the inside. Very, very clean, new flooring throughout and totally new bathroom. Quite dated with loads of bulky wood finishes but very well maintained. Bed very comfortable. Like going back in time.

The king room was spacious & perhaps recently remodeled. The tv was 4K & at least 41” or more. It had a lot of streaming possibilities. Hulu, Roku, & other Apps. The bathroom had many towels that were neatly arranged. There was a shelf that spanned over more than the width of the sink. The linens/comforter on the bed were crisp and mattress was very comfortable. A mini refrig./freezer, micro, and I think a coffee maker? I don’t recall. I don’t drink coffee. Reasonably priced (off-season/Late Feb.) Mostly quiet except for the yapping small dogs 2-doors down. I think it was a long-term tenant? The owner and her daughter were very respectful and gracious. Check-out is 11 a.m. but she offered to let me stay until 2 p.m. when she learned I was traveling and going to church that morning. I would not hesitate to stay at Bel Aire Motel in the future! I would have stayed another night, but had to leave that day.

For the price and age of the building everything exceeded my expectations. There's also plenty of local options for food, I recommend the pizza and wing place down the street close to the river.
