The property is lovely (even better than the pictures) and the hosts could not be more friendly/helpful. View of a smoking Etna from the garden was quite special. There is a lovely restaurant within 2min walk (open fri/sat/sun when we were there in first week of July). Castiglione Di Siclia is only 4km away and, while many restaurants listed, it was very quiet. That said, Belvedere 2.0 was a lovely surprise on final night - very busy with a beautiful terrace/good food. Taormina is about a 45min drive but well worth effort as it is a tourist hotspot. Garden is beautiful although not completely enclosed and we were adopted by 3 lovely kittens for duration of our stay. Overall would thoroughly recommend as a great rural, peaceful stay with beautiful garden and surrounding countryside.
all good.
