Upon arrival, we discovered the following:Active construction on an addition to the property, which was not disclosed or shown in the listing description or photos.Significant cleanliness and sanitation issues, including spoiled milk and onions left in the refrigerator and a half-eaten pizza left in a pizza box inside a kitchen cupboard.An overwhelming dog odor throughout the home, which triggered allergy symptoms and headaches for multiple guests.The back door of the home was unlocked upon arrival, raising safety concerns.We were informed that the backyard was not usable because a large dog was kept there and described as “protective,” making that area off-limits. This restriction was not disclosed in the listing.Because of these issues, we did check in briefly but ultimately left the property and did not stay overnight. We immediately messaged the host through the VRBO platform to report the concerns, his response was for us to come back in 2026 & stay 2 nights for free!?!?

I would not book this place EVER. Mold on the bathroom ceiling, bathroom AC fan falling out of the ceiling, multiple broke outlets, outlets hanging out, food left in the fridge and freezer, an addition being built on with insulation and wires hanging off and the door to it just being taped halfway over with cardboard and tape. The maintenance man also has a workshop in the backyard and is “on property all the time” (his words) with his massive Rottweiler that he lets roam the front and back yard free. They will not disclose any of this and when you complain, they will say he is in an area not accessible to tenants, but that is not true as the backyard is accessible and a grill in it is even listed as an amenity.It also is not the nicest area, had a broke down car parked in one of the spots, and various finishes throughout the home were not finished, disgusting, or obviously thrown together in a rush. It also wasn’t completely clean with there being dirt inside the shower area The host will also tell you that there is no proof of anything said even after you send them 10 pictures of everything. Do NOT stay in this run down property.
