Ole Eides gate is located in the very heart of Bergen city centre, in a historic and vibrant neighbourhood just behind Bryggen. It`s a charming, cobblestone area defined by narrow alleyways, old wooden houses, and a distinctively local Bergen atmosphere.



The neighbourhood is peaceful, yet close to the city`s energy – with short walking distance to the Fish Market, Bryggen, Fløibanen, and a wide selection of cafés, bars, restaurants, and small independent shops. Public transport is easily accessible, with buses, the light rail, and the train station all within walking distance.



Getting around from Ole Eides is easy – whether you prefer walking, taking the bus, or arriving by Uber or taxi from the airport or train station.

– Several bus lines run along Sandviksveien with frequent departures to and from the city center

– The bus ride to downtown takes about 5 minutes, or you can walk there in 10–12 minutes

– A taxi from the airport takes about 25–30 minutes

– Take the light rail (Bybanen) from the airport to the final stop, Byparken (approx. 45 minutes)

From the Train Station (Bergen Station)

– 15–20 minutes on foot

– 5–10 minutes by Uber or taxi

– Alternatively, take a quick bus ride toward Sandviken
