Almost Heaven – Porch Swing Mountain Getaway

Nestled on a peaceful 1-acre lot in Franklin, North Carolina, Almost Heaven is a rustic-chic mountain cabin designed for comfort, connection, and an easy escape from the everyday. With 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and a sofa bed, the cabin comfortably sleeps up to 9 guests. One bedroom also features a private entrance, offering additional privacy for couples, extended family, or friends traveling together.

Inside, you’ll find high ceilings, warm wood floors, a fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, streaming-ready TVs, a washer and dryer, and year-round comfort with baseboard heat, A/C units, and ceiling fans.

Step outside and settle into the porch swing while taking in the mountain views. Keep an eye out for some of our favorite local visitors, including deer, wild turkeys, and colorful songbirds. For guests traveling by electric vehicle, a convenient Tesla charger is available onsite.

Parking is limited to a maximum of two (2) vehicles in the designated gravel parking area. RVs, campers, trailers, and oversized vehicles are not permitted on the property.

There is plenty to explore just beyond the cabin. Franklin offers scenic hiking trails and waterfalls, charming downtown shops and restaurants, live music, local breweries, family-friendly attractions, and cultural experiences, all within easy reach of your stay.
