The apartment provided good value for the price we paid. The rooms were large. The kitchen was fairly well equipped. The pool was great. The location was good, close to the beach, parking outside the apartment block. Spacious living room and bedrooms. Manuela was helpful with issues we had, even though communication sometimes was a challenge.
We were there during an exceptionnaly hot period. The one aircon unit in the living room was not sufficient to cool down the bedrooms. The shower in the bathroom was too small, not enclosed and often overflowed, there was also a pipe sticking out of the wall that was dangerous. We were told it would be fixed. Beds and mattresses need replacing, they were incredibly uncomfortable and gave us bad backs.
The rule about the pool being closed during the afternoon (2.30-4pm) was restrictive and we felt it was unnecessary since we were often the only ones at the pool. The owner lives onsite and their dog is often around. We were asked if we were ok with the dog around us at the pool, we said yes assuming the dog would behave correctly. A day or so later the dog stole and chewed our flip flops, would not give them back and the next day pierced our child's inflatable. This incident was resolved by the dog not being allowed to the pool area when we were there and the owner compensated us for the cost of the inflatable.
