We stayed here for 8 nights and enjoyed the location and our privacy. It is very central and a great base for getting around by scooter. The swimming pool was wonderfully cool, the air conditioning in the bedrooms worked well, the beds were reasonably comfortable, and there was plenty of space to relax.
In the evenings, you can hear the mosque and the boys playing games, which is located right across from the property. During our stay, we had one day without water, the gas was almost empty upon arrival, and the cleanliness could also be improved, so we informed the manager in the hope that this will be taken care of better in the future. Overall, though, it was a fine stay.

We really enjoyed the villa itself and can absolutely see why people would love staying here. The property is beautifully presented, very clean and well maintained, and we especially appreciated how peaceful and relaxing it felt.
The private villa setup, pool area and overall atmosphere were all lovely, and we could tell a lot of care has gone into creating a great experience for guests. We also really appreciated your communication and assistance throughout our stay.
For us, the main challenges were around the location and accessibility rather than the villa itself.
With two very young children and needing to use a pram regularly, we found the surrounding area difficult to navigate safely and comfortably. The roads, footpaths and general accessibility made getting around much more challenging than we had anticipated for a family with young kids.
We also found that there were limited nearby amenities and family-friendly facilities suitable for children under 5, which made day-to-day activities and meals more difficult for us during our stay.
The villa itself was beautiful and very well presented, however the practicality of the location for our family’s current needs unfortunately did not match what we had expected from the listing.

Thanks Matapalo family for our best stay in Bali! This house was so cozy, so cute, so comfortable! There is anything you need for a long stay: cozy bedrooms with conditions, useful kitchen with all essentials, great pool, that was cleaned regularly and (also cozy:) living room! Good location, quiet street. We have best memories from this place, it was ideal for us, 10/10. During all the month we were feeling ourselves like we are home. Think we'll come back next year:))) Thank youuuu so much!💖💖💖

The villa was very nice and cozy. The quiet neighborhood was a plus since the rest of the island seems to be under construction.. 5 min to the best sunsets and surf in Balangan beach. Really recommend!
