The apartment itself was amazing😊 very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. There was air conditioning in every room, the bed was very comfortable and the bedroom had proper curtains, so no light came in during the morning. The whole apartment is actually quite dark, which some people might consider a downside, but we personally didn’t mind it at all.
We also really loved the large terrace with outdoor seating and had dinner there in the evenings. Having a washing machine was another big plus.
The location was great - close to the metro and bus stops, with a Penny supermarket, dm drugstore, cafés and gelato nearby.
We were also allowed to leave our luggage at the apartment before check-in, which we really appreciated. The staff at the accommodation office were very friendly and even provided us with shower gel and coffee capsules.
The biggest downside was definitely the cleaning. Check-in was from 3 PM and, because we were allowed to leave our luggage earlier, we saw that the cleaning staff only arrived at around 1:40 PM. Unfortunately, the final result felt a little rushed.
We had to wipe down the table on the terrace ourselves, and some of the dishes and glasses in the cupboards were sticky or dirty, so we washed them again before using them. The bathtub was leaking and the shower/bath area could also have been cleaned more thoroughly. The utility/cleaning room was quite dirty as well.
It wasn’t dirty to the point where we felt uncomfortable staying there, but it’s a real shame because with more careful cleaning and attention to detail, the apartment could be absolutely perfect.
Another thing to keep in mind is that the keys have to be collected from a different address during a specific time window. Key delivery directly to the apartment is possible, but for an extra fee. The online check-in before arrival was also very long and detailed, and towards the end it became a bit frustrating.
