A Landscape like No Other At the confluence of two perennial rivers, our pristine riverine habitat offers a rare, undulating terrain — far from the typical flat Lowveld. Enjoy sweeping panoramic views of the Northern Drakensberg and the enchanting Mica Koppies. Free from very dangerous game like lion, elephant and buffalo, and the reserve is a haven for adventures without immediate danger and provides a safer bush environment for Walking in savannah and riverine habitat, Mountain biking (easy and technical), birdwatching, self drive day and night game drives and technical 4x4 (Cottage is accessible by high clearance sedan however much of the reserve requires a 4x4 to explore, Fishing in both the Blyde River and Olifants river . Common animals on our reserve include Leopard, hyena, hippo, crocodile, honey badgers, porcupines, aardvarks, baboons, giraffe, vultures, fish eagles kudu, waterbuck, impala are all frequent sightings — the wild spirit of Africa lives here.
