Dating back to'XI secolo e ristrutturata più volte dopo le lotte tra fiorentini e senesi su queste terre, la proprietà è composta da un castello e dalle case dei contadini che lavoravano la terra per i signori locali.
Le case coloniche sono oggi un idilliaco complesso turistico. Il complesso offre agli ospiti una sala degustazione (vini Chianti di fama mondiale, oltre a Vin Santo e olio d'olive), wireless internet access at the reception and a beautiful swimming pool (16 x 7, open from mid-May to October), gazebo, barbecue area and lots of relaxation.
At the castle, 250 metres from the flats, there is also a small church, available for wedding ceremonies.
Distances: The nearest village with grocery shops and restaurants is approx. 5 km away (Vagliagli), the supermarket in Siena 13 km, San Gimignano 40 km, Volterra 55 km, Montalcino 55 km, Pienza and Montepulciano just over 70 km and Florence approx. 70 km.
The 20 holiday flats are distributed in the three farmhouses around the swimming pool, all on the ground or first floor, with independent entrances and outdoor spaces. They are simply furnished in a cosy Tuscan style.
