The host sent an email with all the information. It was super easy to locate where to find the Courtyard Key, and then just as easy to locate the key to our condo.
It was perfect. I wouldn't change a think about this condo.

The security seemed very good.
The lockbox entry from the street always has to be opened for entry to the properties. It would be nice to have a different setup to make entry quicker.

Located in a quiet area of French quarter that is still close to Canal and Bourbon St.
Carpet/rug were in need of cleaning. Mattresses thin uncomfortable.

The apartment is nicely located in the French Quarter within easy walking distance of anything visitors want to see. We stayed four days without incident or concern. We felt safe and the building was secure. Although the property is oddly configured (see below) the essentials are provided for a private respite in the middle of all the action. Parking is not included but there are ample places charging reasonable rates within one or two blocks; parking on the street right outside is free overnight which we took advantage of when we planned to drive out of the city the next day.
Overall our vote is book one of the hotels around the corner. The property itself seems to have been created from a previous business which presents a sort-of run-down college dorm feel. Construction was solid but furnishings definitely appear to be Salvation Army purchases; everything was clean and functional but not what I would describe as "nice". Beds are very noisy and headboards aren't attached making the whole sleeping process difficult.
The environment is very noisy such that we were surprised to find an actual container of foam ear plugs on the night stand. A considerable number of souped-up cars race below the windows at 2:00 am.
We selected/requested the property at one price but the confirmation we received was $130 higher than the listed price. Still an OK deal but annoying that the price jumped 20% over what was offered.
There is a drip coffee pot however no coffee was provided (we agree coffee is not part of the deal but our experience has been that it is an expectation).
