Set on 2.5 wooded acres backing national forest, the cabin pairs dramatic stone, warm wood and walls of windows with space for the whole group. Inside are 2 spacious living areas, 2 wet bars and a 100-inch TV. A fireplace-equipped king suite gives the primary bedroom a retreat of its own. Front and back decks and a private forest-facing hot tub open the stay to the pines. The sleeping layout includes 1 king bed, 3 queen beds and 2 full-over-full bunk beds.

🌲 Main Level 🏔️

The main level opens with a purpose-built mountain entry: built-in storage, a dog wash station and a nearby half bathroom make it easier to handle muddy paws, snow gear and trail dust before moving into the rest of the cabin.

Beyond the entry, the kitchen, dining area, living room and wet bar flow together beneath soaring wood ceilings. The massive kitchen island gives the group a natural place to gather, with 6 barstools, generous prep space, beautiful countertops and custom cabinetry. The dining table seats 8, while the separate wet bar adds another serving and gathering point during longer evenings at the cabin.

The living room is anchored by a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace and surrounded by expansive windows that bring the forest views inside. Sliding glass doors lead directly onto the deck, extending the main gathering space into the mountain air.

The primary suite is also on this level, set apart as a private retreat with a king bed, its own fireplace and sliding-door access to the deck. Its full bathroom includes a double vanity, a soaking tub beside a forest-facing window, a separate walk-in shower and a large walk-in closet.

🌲 Lower Level 🎬

The second living room downstairs gives the group another full-size gathering area rather than a small overflow space. A 100-inch TV faces an oversized theater-style sectional for movie nights, game days or a slower evening after exploring. A second wet bar keeps drinks and snacks nearby, and the dedicated laundry room has a washer and dryer for longer stays.

All 4 additional bedrooms are downstairs: 3 queen bedrooms and a bunk room with 2 full-over-full bunk beds. One queen room and the bunk room share a full bathroom with direct access from both rooms. A second full bathroom opens from the common area and serves the other 2 queen rooms as well as the downstairs living space.

Two queen bedrooms and the lower living room have sliding doors with direct walk-out access to the forest-facing outdoor space, giving guests another way to move between the cabin and the pines.

🌲 Outdoor Living + Hot Tub ♨️

Front and back decks stretch the living space into the pines, creating multiple places to sit outside, breathe in the mountain air and take in the 2.5 wooded acres. Sliding glass doors connect the decks and outdoor areas to both levels of the cabin, including the main living room, king suite, two lower queen bedrooms and downstairs living room, making it easy to move between indoor and outdoor spaces throughout the day.

Tucked among the pines, the private 7-person hot tub faces national forest and gives the group a quiet place to unwind after hiking, riding or exploring the parks. Settle in beneath the trees as the day winds down, then look up on clear nights for stargazing and views of the Milky Way across the dark mountain sky.

🌲 Guest Access 🔑

Guests have access to both living levels, the front and back decks and the private hot tub. Self check-in is through the main-level smart lock; the door code is sent on the day of check-in.

The lower exterior door and slider do not have smart locks. For step-free lower-level entry, someone in the party must first enter through the main level and unlock a lower door from inside. Once unlocked, the lower level provides step-free access to the second living room, wet bar, 4 bedrooms, a full bathroom and the laundry area. Reaching the kitchen, main living area and primary suite requires stairs.

🌲 Important Details ‼️

A vehicle is necessary for reaching the home and exploring the surrounding area.

‼️ 4WD is required October through April—no exceptions. A 2WD vehicle with chains is not an acceptable substitute. The home sits at approximately 8,500 feet, where roads may be clear on arrival and a major storm can move in overnight. Arrive with the proper vehicle and be prepared for changing mountain conditions.

There is ample on-site parking for registered guests, including space for a trailer. A trailer may be parked at the property, but guests may not sleep in an RV, trailer, tent or vehicle. County regulations limit occupancy to 10 guests, including children.

Complete your main grocery shopping before driving up the mountain. Grocery options on the mountain are very limited, and restaurant operating days and hours in Duck Creek Village vary by season.

House-trained, well-behaved dogs are welcome: up to 2 small dogs totaling no more than 75 pounds, or 1 larger dog weighing no more than 75 pounds. Dogs are the only pets permitted.

Exterior-facing security cameras monitor outdoor areas only and are used for security when the home is vacant.

Self check-in is by smart lock. The door code is sent on the day of check-in.

🔐 Booking Verification

After booking, the primary guest will receive a secure verification link by text or email. The guest must use that link to submit a valid photo ID and payment method to complete the required verification. Please do not send ID or card details directly by text or email.
