Host was very helpful and sounded nice. I wish we had a picture of the sign at the entrance before driving too far past the property (it's impossible to find without a sign). Very clean. Probably a great value if you use all three rooms. It is in the middle of nowhere. There were 1-day old baby goats. Cutest thing ever. There is everything you need in this house, for laundry, for cooking... Very convenient. And it was nice to be able to walk on the farm.
Incredibly quiet, but the dog barks almost non stop, sometimes right next to the bedroom window, until late in the night (very nice dogs, but hard to fall asleep with them barking). Bed was not very good: noisy (both the springs and the plastic mattress protection cover) and very wiggly. It is a good ten minutes if not a little more to go from the house itself to Quitaque. Once at the gate, there is still ways to go to get to the house. That is not an issue though. Know that it might not be possible to access the house with a low clearance car. The water is pumped from the ground and it raises the question of how clean, and drinkable, it is. It's a real pity that a bunch of junk lays around the house, it could look very nice. And there is SO much dust, especially when windy. Ground is mostly bare around.
