The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff were genuinely friendly, and the atmosphere felt calm and welcoming. Great location and good value for money. I’d happily stay here again.

I had a really lovely stay at Sisama Lodge, and honestly, it’s one of those places that leaves you feeling relaxed, welcomed, and genuinely happy you chose it. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was calm and friendly, exactly what you want after a long journey or a busy day exploring Moshi.
The staff deserve special mention. Everyone was kind, respectful, and always smiling. They made an effort to check in on how my stay was going and were happy to help with directions, transport, or simple local advice. Nothing felt forced or “hotel-scripted” it was real hospitality, and that makes a big difference.
My room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable, the room was quiet at night, and everything I needed was there. Housekeeping did a great job, and I always came back to a fresh, tidy room. The lodge itself is nicely laid out, with a peaceful environment that makes it easy to relax, read, or just enjoy the surroundings.
One thing I really appreciated was how calm and safe the place felt. After busy days in town, coming back to Sisama Lodge felt like stepping into a small retreat. The outdoor areas are pleasant, and it’s a great spot to unwind in the morning or evening.
The location is also very convenient. It’s close enough to Moshi town to access shops, restaurants, and tour pickups, but far enough to avoid noise and congestion. This balance made moving around very easy and stress-free.
Breakfast was simple, fresh, and satisfying a good start to the day. You can tell effort is put into making guests comfortable rather than just ticking boxes.
Overall, Sisama Lodge offers excellent value for money. It’s clean, peaceful, welcoming, and run by people who genuinely care about their guests. I would absolutely stay here again and would confidently recommend it to anyone visiting Moshi, whether you’re coming for a Kilimanjaro climb, safari, or just a relaxing getaway.
