The host emailed us before our arrival with the keypad code. It was super easy to enter the property. I am not sure why the property is listed as an apartment, but it is a house and it is not a shared unit.
The road to get to the property is very curvy but worth the drive. You will have approx. 1 mile on gravel and may require 4-wheel drive if rainy. I was not expecting that but thankfully we were in a Ford F-150. Trust me, it is worth it.
This place is fully stocked with all your needs. If you are flying in you will not need to worry about bringing anything. We have never stayed in a placed that had a fully stocked kitchen, bathroom, laundry room. My son and I were traveling for 2 weeks for his downhill bike races so taking the worry out of certain necessities was very appreciated. Because of where we stayed prior to arriving, we had pretty much everything we needed but again, if you don't want to worry about lugging products like laundry soap, q-tips, hairdryer, extra towels, camping chairs, a dog bed (if you bring your pup), Keurig machine, k-cups, tea...you don't have to. COMFY BEDS, with linen spray and chocolates on our beds! Great touch!
The bathroom is amazing! Great shower with full size products! What a difference that makes! Laundry/mudroom was a great place for us to keep our coolers and extra bags, so they were out of the way.
The outside is fantastic to. No neighbors, a creek running in front and plenty of room to explore. We didn't get to spend a lot of time on the property because we were in the area for a MTB race at Ride Rock Creek bike park. The drive was approx. 25 mins to the venue but that is because of mountain roads. It was a little far from Hendersonville and other areas like shopping but if you stock up on food and don't plan to explore other areas this property is a real retreat. You truly disconnect from society, but it does have great Wi-Fi and a smart tv!
Not much to complain about. Just be aware that you are in the middle of nature, and you will see spiders and the occasional ant.
