Overall, the apartment is very nice, but the communication from the host could be better.

The accommodation is located in a very good area, within walking distance of the Navigli district and about a 20-minute walk from the Milan Cathedral. There are many shops nearby (e.g., Lidl), and there are also very beautiful parks in the area. The accommodation was clean and tidy, and everything you might need for a weekend stay was available.

The day before our arrival, I wrote to the host asking for information about how we would enter the apartment. They told me they would get back to me on the day of arrival with the details about access. I also had a few other questions, but I did not receive a response to them. Unfortunately, on the day of our arrival they did not reply until 3:00 PM. I was worried all day about whether we would actually have accommodation. I wrote to them every hour through the Booking platform, but I did not receive any response. At 3:00 PM they finally sent the instructions on how to enter the apartment, and we were able to get in. From that point on everything was fine, but I would have appreciated an earlier response so we didn’t have to start the weekend feeling stressed.

The apartment is spacious and clean besides the ants.

The host does not respond to any of the messages in an adequate time frame. We were not given any instructions whatsoever before our stay. Until the last minute we thought it was a scam. He asked us to send IDs on e-mail, which seemed suspicious. And then he did not respond to other messages. There were ants at the apartment. The shower is tiny without a door, opposite a washing machine so the water splashes everywhere.
