HOUSE RULES – PLEASE REVIEW BEFORE BOOKING
Welcome to 16 Miles Stays!
Our cabins are privately owned by Dan and Maria and operated through 16 Miles Inc. We take tremendous pride in our homes and work hard to keep them beautiful, comfortable, clean, and well maintained for every guest.
We ask one simple thing in return: Please treat our home with the same kindness, care, and respect you would want someone to show your own home.
By booking, you acknowledge and agree to the following House Rules.
MINIMUM AGE
The primary guest responsible for the reservation must be at least 23 years old, must complete our guest verification process, and must be present at the property for the entire stay.
NO SMOKING OR VAPING
Smoking or vaping of any kind is strictly prohibited inside the cabin.
This includes cigarettes, cigars, marijuana, vaping devices, and similar products.
Evidence of smoking or vaping inside the property will result in a $2,000 cleaning and deodorizing fee.
NO PETS
Pets are not permitted unless the specific property has been expressly designated as pet-friendly and your reservation has been approved accordingly.
Bringing an unauthorized pet onto the property may result in a $500 fee and possible cancellation of the reservation without refund.
PLEASE DO NOT MOVE FURNITURE OR DECOR
Our cabins are professionally furnished and arranged for both appearance and safety.
Please do not:
• Move beds, sofas, chairs, tables, nightstands, televisions, lamps, rugs, artwork, or other furniture.
• Rearrange indoor or outdoor furniture.
• Move furniture between rooms or floors.
• Remove decorative items from their designated locations.
• Take indoor furniture outside or outdoor furniture inside.
If you move a small item during your stay, please return it to its original location before checkout.
WALLS, ARTWORK & DECORATIONS
Please do not attach anything to the walls, doors, ceilings, cabinets, furniture, or other surfaces.
No tape, nails, screws, tacks, adhesives, command strips, stickers, hooks, party decorations, banners, or similar materials may be used without prior written approval.
Please do not remove, reposition, or replace artwork or decorations.
LIGHTING & LIGHT BULBS
Please do not remove, loosen, replace, or alter any light bulbs, fixtures, lamps, switches, or electrical equipment.
We understand that some guests may find certain lights brighter than they prefer. If a light is too bright, simply turn it off and use another light or lamp.
Removing bulbs can damage fixtures and creates unnecessary maintenance issues for the next guest.
PLEASE REMOVE YOUR SHOES
We kindly ask guests to remove outdoor shoes when entering the cabin whenever practical.
Our mountain environment can bring in mud, gravel, moisture, leaves, and debris very quickly. Removing your shoes helps us protect the floors, rugs, and furnishings and keeps the cabin cleaner throughout your stay.
PLEASE CARE FOR OUR FURNITURE
Please treat all furniture, mattresses, bedding, rugs, countertops, appliances, electronics, games, and outdoor furnishings with care.
Please do not place wet towels, wet bathing suits, food, drinks, or other items that could stain or damage furniture, beds, rugs, or wood surfaces.
