About this farm stay rental

The King Mary House at Buffalo Woods is tucked over 300 feet off the road and surrounded by the beauty of our fifth-generation working family farm, this fully renovated 120-year-old farmhouse offers a relaxing retreat with modern amenities.

Guests enjoy a No-Chore Checkout and no cleaning fees.

-Peaceful Setting: Bordering a 20-acre managed pine forest and a 10-acre hayfield and pasture, the house is immersed in nature. You may spot our cattle herd grazing, hear a tractor working the fields, or catch the seasonal aroma of tobacco curing in the barns.

We'd also like to kindly share that being a working farm you may also smell the cattle herd, hear the motors running in the tobacco barns through the night, or need to share the road with a tractor. :) Life on the farm is vibrant and ever-changing, and we’re happy to share it with you.

- The Farmhouse: This home blends its original character with thoughtful updates. You’ll find details like original doors and doorknobs alongside comfortable spaces for your stay. The 3 bedrooms (sleeps 6) are outfitted with all-cotton linens and cooling gel pillows to ensure a restful night.

As is typical of a farmhouse that has grown over time, there’s a step down into the bathroom and two bedrooms—just something to keep in mind as you settle in.

The house is named after the earliest known residents, Mr. King and Mrs. Mary Vinson, who worked the surrounding farmland when it belonged to the Davis family. My father has fond memories of the Vinsons and we’re honored to carry their legacy forward in this home.

- Inviting Spaces:
Front Porch: Enjoy your morning coffee or an evening conversation in the rocking chairs.

Sunroom: A bright, window-filled space perfect for reading or soaking in the views.

Outdoor Sitting Area: Relax under the pecan tree with peaceful views of the pines and pastures.

- Modern Amenities:
Stay connected with Starlink WiFi and enjoy entertainment on the 55" Roku TV.

The kitchen is fully stocked with a gas range, convection air fryer microwave, and both a single-cup Keurig and 12-cup coffee maker for your convenience.

- Nearby:
While the house offers peaceful seclusion, it’s just 6 miles to Publix, Harris Teeter, local coffee shops, dining, and shopping.

Whether you’re seeking a quiet getaway or a taste of life on a working farm, this farmhouse provides a comfortable and memorable experience. We look forward to hosting you!
