Review of the Accommodation We were traveling through the USA with our family for several weeks and booked this accommodation because we found a good deal on Booking.com. To make the review as fair and transparent as possible, I would like to divide it into three categories. 👍 Good * The location is very central in Downtown, which is very convenient for exploring the area. * There is a free parking garage available, only about a 2-minute walk from the accommodation. * The accommodation is generally well suited for 2–3 people and has a nice interior and overall appearance. 😐 Neutral * There is a security service, but in my opinion, the people entering the building are not properly checked. If someone does not obviously look homeless, it seems that almost anyone can enter relatively easily. * The accommodation is advertised as 74 m², but in reality it feels smaller to me. The size is generally fine, but the place looks somewhat larger in the photos than it actually is. * The shower light was not working. 👎 Bad The biggest issue for us was the mold. My son started coughing very frequently after we arrived. He is allergic and is sensitive to dust and mold. Unfortunately, we only discovered on the third day that there was a large amount of mold underneath the sofa mattress. For us, this is an absolute no-go and something that should definitely have been checked before the accommodation was rented out. Another issue is the noise. The windows are very thin and apparently not properly soundproofed. As a result, a lot of outside noise comes into the apartment, including airplanes, sirens, traffic, and sometimes a whistling noise during the night. If you need a quiet environment to sleep, I would not recommend this accommodation. Conclusion Would I rent this accommodation again? At the moment, no — but with some improvements, yes. Despite the issues mentioned above, I can recommend this accommodation with some reservations.
