View from the porch is stunning! Felt like home, a little artsy stay in the middle of nowhere - amazing place for a break if you’re doing Cao Bang by motorbike. There is a tattoo studio downstairs and it’s all hand built - we would have got tattoos if we had more time - book ahead of your stay. Dogs were friendly, owner was great and spoke English well, and the fields on all sides were so picturesque! Shower was AMAZING - outdoor shower! Pressure was fantastic, what an experience! My partner loved the bed because it was a firm mattress and had loads of space - he’s super tall. Although the bathroom was downstairs it didn’t matter as it was well lit. Would come back in a heartbeat.
The swimming pool wasn’t operational on the day of our stay- it would have made it 11/10 if there was a pool. Some fresh brewed coffee for the morning would have taken this place beyond expectations although instant coffee was provided, and I definitely suggest that for the motorbiker clientele because the drives are long! The stairs are a little bit dangerous if I’m honest - I think they need to be widened a bit. But these are only tips, because I think this was a steal for the price we paid for a bit of paradise! Thank you!

Great host, made us feel very welcomed but gave us our own space. He booked a bus for us to go up to Cao Bang. Legend 😎

D was an awesome host. The home is in a beautiful location, surrounded by rice paddies and the view from the room is tranquil- huge windows. He gave us eggs from his Mums chickens in the morning and delicious coffee!! Super flexible with check out. Highly recommend
