Came over from Hong Kong for four nights and almost didn't want to fly back.
Quick warning before anything else — the nearest supermarket is a good 30 minutes away by car, so stock up before you get there. We actually forgot toothbrushes and only realised once we'd unpacked, but the villa had some on hand so we were fine in the end.
Anyway, the place itself. New, spotless, and the kitchen had everything we needed, so we ended up cooking most nights instead of going out. The bathroom has a dryer function too, which came in handy since it was a bit humid while we were there.
But honestly, the jacuzzi is what I keep bringing up to people back home. During the day it's right over the water with the sea stretching out in front of you. At night you obviously can't see the sea anymore, but they've got it lit up and it turns into a completely different mood—almost dreamlike, sitting there after the sauna with the lights reflecting on the water. We ended up doing that most evenings instead of going anywhere.
The view from upstairs is also something else, especially the first time you walk up and it just opens up in front of you.
Only other thing—keep the windows shut at night. Bugs come for the lights since it's pretty remote out there.
The bed had a unique feel that I can't quite describe, but I ended up sleeping better than I have in ages.
Already telling people they need to go.

An old friend from my study abroad days came over from the US, so the three of us stayed here together.
We all had a bit of work to do during the day, but somehow every evening ended up the same — sitting out on the terrace looking at the sea and talking for hours.
We didn’t really do much sightseeing. We’d cook something simple, have a few drinks outside, and suddenly it was late.
I had a couple of online meetings while I was there and the Wi-Fi was completely fine.
They were building a jacuzzi overlooking the water while we were staying there. My friend was already saying he wants to come back in winter.

友人夫婦と4人で2泊しました。
宿は高台にあり、瀬戸内海を一望できる景色がとても印象的でした。写真で見ていた通りの眺めで、テラスから海を眺めながらゆっくり過ごす時間がとても心地よかったです。
建物は新しく、室内も広く清潔でした。寝室が分かれているので、4人でもそれぞれ落ち着いて過ごすことができました。
周囲はとても静かな環境で、日常から少し離れてゆっくり過ごすのにちょうど良い場所だと思います。
また機会があれば訪れたいと思います。

A acomodação é muito bem equipada, localização perfeita com vista incrível, e ainda tem uma sauna.
Não consigo colocar defeitos nas três noites que passamos em família, enquanto viajávamos por Shikoku.
A casa é bem espaçosa, a vista para o mar de Setouchi é impressionante. Foi possível apreciar da sauna, o silêncio da natureza e total tranquilidade.
Ficar sentado na mesa da varanda, vendo o mar e os barcos passar, acompanhado de um cafézinho, foi um momento em família muito gostoso e relaxante após dias de caos nas cidades agitadas do Japão! foi exatamente o que estávamos precisando.
A cozinha é completa! O anfitrião deixa opções de café, chá verde e preto!
A comida local que pedimos estava excepcional.
Com certeza voltarei em outras ocasiões, e recomendarei para amigos e família como um local ótima para quem busca conforto, paz durante sua viagem de carro!
