We liked three comfortable double beds in the room for the three of us who preferred to sleep separately (sisters). Room set up with toilet and (new) bathtub/shower in a separate room from bathroom sink and counter and coffee maker also worked well and was efficient use of the space. One of our group used and really liked the hot tub which is in a large room next to the office.
In some ways we liked the location—close to downtown Fernie—but because it’s on hwy 3, the sound of cars and trucks was quite loud especially for the light-sleeping guest who chose the bed closest to the windiw (and the highway. The room was not very well sound-proofed. We could hear morning conversation beteeen guests in the next (adjoining with locked door in between) room quite well. Best of all regarding location was the EXCELLENT restaurant-the Bridge Bistro—not part of the hotel but only a few steps away—also on the highway. We enjoyed a great dinner there at a reasonable price.

Location was quite central
Value. This place is a motel at best and the prices are very high for what you get. Photos are misleading as property is not a hotel but basic motel
