I grew up in Pendleton so it was a quiet and cute little spot to visit. My trip was cut short due the a/c not functioning how it was day one and when I returned to the cottage after being out most of the day it was so moist and humid I couldn’t be in the room due to health reasons. There was a slight disagreement between the host and I on this however she did offer to have someone come repair it but by this time it was late in the afternoon and I had already had issues day one with check in time due to the early check in and the power being out so I was just ready to leave. I didn’t feel like sitting outside waiting on a repair man to come, so I left early. Plus I can’t justify risking my health with humidity and potential allergens that come with moist indoor environments. Despite my personal issues, I would still give the cottage 5 stars. It’s cute, it’s quiet, it was clean enough (hot tub smelled weird), but no complaints other than that. Host did offer me refund for one of the three nights I stayed, which I am grateful for.
