Not worth the money

Limited time when reception is open. Breakfast rules are absurd. There are 6 categories and everything is limited. Last thing I want to think about on my holiday! New location, every taxi driver got confused!

Very nice facilities and pools. The villas are pleasant.

It is not about the property - I heard several times how a manager was telling the restaurant team something in a very strict manner in front of the guests. The tone of voice was very rude. All internal discussions should take place in a separate location not at the bar. This made a very bad impression about the managing team.

Great value luxury resort.

When we initially talked about coming to Indonesia, friends told us to go to Lombok instead of Bali, it's cheaper and what Bali used to be like years ago. We listened and booked 3 weeks in Lombok then 3 weeks in Bali, only two of which were at Sawangan Eco Resort. The Eco Resort was half the price of the place we stayed in Lombok and twice as nice! The staff were super friendly, the resort super clean, the villas extremely comfortable, the food delicious and the location suited us perfectly. We also had a couples massage which was excellent value and very relaxing. I wish we'd stayed here longer.
