I was expecting a better area. I can appreciate the work put into decorating the interior of the cabins (cute), but from the outside I didn’t feel particularly safe to wander around. I assumed from the name it would have beach access or at least somewhere to enjoy a walk. I guess I should have done more research. I was just stopping in to sleep on a road-trip. For that it was fine.

I was able to upgrade from the Studio cabin to the upgraded cabin# #6, thanks to the 2 ladies at front desk, they are very friendly and helpful. Cabin is clean, beds are comfortable. Bring your own soap and shampoos. I was hoping to do some bank fishing while staying there but lake access is very limited and steep. So this location is great for retreat/ camping but not for fishermen.

The cabins are advertised as lake view. Only one has a lake view, the rest have a view of a row of trailers between the lake and the cabins, there’s a pipe frame shelve along the narrow and only access to the bathroom so anyone over 5 feet tall will walk into it in the dark as I hit my face on it. The advertisement said there was a cooking area but they had what looked like an Easy Bake Oven/toaster oven/ 2 cup coffee pot.

Cabin needs a reading light next to bed cause no tv , to read. Curtains didn’t fully close and people’s were always walking by, couldn’t dress in bedroom, had to go to bathroom

We stayed in the two bedroom unit, and the view was amazing. Needed a bit more updating, but there’s a new owner so hopefully that will happen soon.
