Perched on 10 secluded acres in the foothills of western NC, this thoughtfully designed 3-bedroom cabin sleeps up to 8 and was built for people who need to truly unplug. The open living area flows to a covered porch with beautiful mountain views. On cooler evenings, gather around the gas indoor fireplace or head outside to the fire pit under a sky full of stars.
The kitchen is fully stocked for real meals. The primary bedroom has a king bed and its own bathroom. Two additional bedrooms — one queen, one with two queens — make this ideal for families or groups of friends. A washer and dryer, A/C, and large screen TV mean all the comforts of home without sacrificing any of the magic.
Spring is spectacular here. Wildflowers bloom across the trails at South Mountains State Park (just minutes away), waterfalls hit their peak flow, and the temperatures are perfect for hiking, sitting by the fire pit, or doing absolutely nothing at all. April and May are genuinely the best-kept secret in the Blue Ridge.
You're 20 minutes from downtown Morganton's restaurants, craft breweries (Fonta Flora is a local favorite), and shops — close enough for a dinner out, far enough to feel like you've escaped.
