Beautiful location, but overpriced for the quality provided.
The villa has a truly beautiful location and an amazing sea view, which are definitely its strongest points. The beds were comfortable, although the pillows could be improved. We also appreciated the water and tea provided on arrival.
Unfortunately, our 11-day stay was affected by several issues, and overall we felt that the villa did not offer good value for the price, especially considering the number of facilities that were unavailable or not functioning properly.
The dishwasher did not work throughout our stay. One of the bathrooms had a problem with water flooding the floor, making it difficult to use normally. The towels and bed linen were clean, but visibly very worn from extensive use and, in our view, not in line with the standard we expected from a property of this level. We were also informed upon arrival that one of the sinks was not working. A plumber came, but unfortunately was unable to fix it.
The most significant issue was the electricity. Although the villa is advertised with air conditioning, we were told that we could not use more than two air-conditioning units at the same time, otherwise the electricity would shut down. We also experienced power cuts when using the cooking hob and air conditioning simultaneously. For a villa advertised to accommodate up to six guests, this made normal use of the house quite challenging.
Bicycles that had been advertised were also not made available to us.
It is a pity because the villa has a wonderful location, a beautiful view and great potential. However, considering the maintenance issues and the limitations affecting basic facilities, we felt that it was overpriced for the level of comfort and functionality provided.
