The host was very communicative and got us additional items as needed. They live in the home and they created spaces for us to store our stuff, in closets and cabinets, which was appreciated. We wish there had been a coffee maker and toaster as those are pretty standard in a vacation rental. The "futon" isn't really a futon, it's a pad on the floor, so it doesn't really sleep 7 unless you have babies that are in cribs. With a few updates, like larger beds, this would be a great rental.
