The most beautiful, thoughtfully designed home we've stayed in — the villa itself was the highlight
We booked this villa to see Andrea Bocelli, but the villa itself ended up being the true highlight of the trip. The hosts — Lisa and her husband, American expats who recently moved to Italy — thought of everything, down to the smallest detail, with the kind of care you'd only put into a home you loved yourself. It was pure luxury and so indulgent. The tiny town was full of beauty and charm, and the welcome was true Italian style — warm and generous. We had breakfast at a Michelin-recognized restaurant just a few minutes' walk away, and were invited to an incredible aperitivo nearby. Evenings were spent by the pool and out on the patio, just watching the sky and soaking in how beautiful it all was. We're already dreaming about going back!
The only small issue we had was a little trouble with the internet. I had planned to do work calls and had trouble connecting the first day. It's a medieval village- Internet might be a little spotty. I just canceled my calls and enjoyed it. Internet was fine for emailing etc.

We had a lovely stay and would happily recommend this apartment to others.
We received a very warm welcome from the host, who gave us all the information we needed about the accommodation. She had also prepared some snacks and a bottle of wine, which made our arrival especially pleasant.
The apartment is beautifully decorated, and staying in such a charming medieval setting was a unique experience. It is kept comfortably cool by two air-conditioning units, which was very nice during the hot summer weather.
There is also a very large television with access to Netflix. However, the HDMI ports are not accessible, so it is not possible to connect a laptop or Chromecast.
Outside, there is a large swimming pool shared with the other apartments. Whenever I went swimming at around 8 a.m., the pool area had already been cleaned and was very well maintained. There are plenty of loungers and seating areas around the pool, and the tables offer fantastic views—perfect for relaxing outside. You can also enjoy the two private terraces belonging to the apartment.
The apartment is located in Rivalto, on a hill, but we were able to reach it easily by car and scooter. There are several restaurants nearby, as well as a bakery where you can buy bread and pizza. There is also a nearby bar, Bar Centrale, where you can enjoy a coffee and breakfast in the morning.
We had a very pleasant stay and could always contact the host whenever we had a question or needed help. We would recommend this accommodation.
I initially thought the swimming pool would be private. However, it is shared with guests from the other apartments. This did not bother us.
