It was such a lovely place to stay! The place was bigger than expected and was spotless. It was all secure as well with door codes. The staff downstairs were lovely too
Literally the only downside was an odd noise coming from the toilet, it happened occasionally but when it did it was loud enough to wake me up

Bardzo dobra lokalizacja, blisko do przystanku autobusowego i metra. Lodówka z wodą - super!
Bar w hotelu z super obsługa, bilard :-)
Pokój fajny, ale zbyt miękkie materace - przy dwóch złączonych łóżkach materace zapadały się i rozsuwały. Oprócz tego zielone światło na suficie świecące całą dobę - polecam opaskę na oczy na noc.

Despite arriving to blackened out windows in a deserted area the inside was very smart and the room very spacious.
The location was good being so near a station but still took an hour to get to the Conference hall.
Having to wait to be able to get into my room as the room allocated was not known. However, I did enjoy the complimentary drinks and the very interesting conversation with Connor. But this resulted in me missing the first event.
Did not like the lack of a lift as I am disabled but I appreciate the fact that I did book into an old building. It would have been appreciated to have been given the option of a first floor room if available.

El sitio estaba bastante limpio y nuevo, la ducha funcionaba muy bien y en general los demás huéspedes no molestaron demasiado, cosa que se agradece.
Dada la ubicación, un poco apartada, la calle era bastante tranquila salvo por unos altavoces del pub de abajo que apuntan hacia la misma emitiendo música, pero mi habitación estaba en la segunda planta por lo que no me molestaban demasiado y sobre las 23:00 paraban. Había una kettle y café de cortesía.
Los colchones, MUY incómodos, se hunden en la parte central y te clavas los muelles o lo que sea que tienen dentro, y las almohadas son muy blandas. Una luz verde en el techo que molesta para dormir, ya leí sobre ella en otros comentarios antes de hospedarme y pensé que no sería tan malo, pero lo es, entiendo que es algún dispositivo de seguridad pero deberían hacer algo para suavizarla un poco.
Pero lo peor, con diferencia, la calefacción. El sitio tiene y funciona muy bien, esto cuando te permiten usarla. A mi llegada se me dijo que si el radiador no emitía calor tenía que subir el termostato que estaba en la planta baja, al alcance de todo el mundo, así que eso hice. Lo puse a 20º, nada exagerado, y al rato la habitación se caldeó bastante, por lo que regulé el radiador para que no emitiera tanto calor, como cualquier persona mínimamente inteligente haría.
La sorpresa llegó cuando al día siguiente regresé a mi habitación y estaba fría como un témpano, bajé a comprobar el termostato y efectivamente, alguien lo había bajado a 0º. Volví a ponerlo a 20º, todo para que al día siguiente alguien lo hubiera vuelto a bajar a 0º. Pues bien, esta dinámica se repitió durante TODA mi estancia (y fueron 10 noches) hasta que la última noche, alguien precintó el termostato con un cartel de "Please don't touch".
Pensaba que había estado lidiando con un huésped estúpido que, en lugar de regular la temperatura de su habitación desde su radiador, decidía dejar a todo el hotel sin calefacción, pero parece ser que se trataba de alguien del propio hotel que había decidido que en Liverpool, a finales de octubre y con la tormenta Adam en medio, aún no hace el suficiente frío como para que sus huéspedes disfruten de calefacción.
