I compared countless homestays in Lijiang and finally booked Yun Shen Bu Zhi Chu through Booking, and the stay experience totally exceeded my expectations!
The location is extremely convenient. It’s close to Shuhe Ancient Town, so you don’t have to walk on steep stone paths. Taxis and various restaurants are easily available nearby. The courtyard has an amazing atmosphere, and the soft cloud lights at night make it a fantastic spot for taking photos.
The entire place is cleaned with great attention to detail. The bedding is soft and odor-free, the bathroom has steady hot water supply, and the free toiletries are high-quality. There are several gentle puppies in the courtyard, which brought so much joy to my kids.
The owner and housekeepers are incredibly considerate. They sent detailed navigation directions ahead of my arrival, gave me a warm welcome when I checked in, and voluntarily recommended hidden local restaurants and quiet off-the-beaten-path viewing spots. They even provide customized weight-loss nutritious meals for guests who want a fitness retreat, which is perfect for long stays as you can enjoy your vacation while keeping in shape.
The homestay is quiet and free of loud crowds. Sitting in the courtyard drinking tea and feeling the breeze is incredibly soothing. It suits couples as well as two families traveling together perfectly. I will definitely book this place again on my next trip to Lijiang, and I highly recommend it to every traveler coming here!
