Accueil très chaleureux de la part du propriétaire venu nous accueillir et remettre les clefs. Sa femme nous a envoyé un tas de photos des lieux à visiter, et le dernier soir, le propriétaire nous a gentiment fait un tour du village et du lac proche.

Het appartement was nieuw en ruim voor 2 personen. Alles is goed en mooi afgewerkt met 2 kleine balkonnetjes.
Heerlijke douche met voldoende waterdruk.
De bedden zijn goed maar de kussens zouden wat dikker/harder mogen zijn. De hosts Paolo en Antonella zijn zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Antonella heeft ons voorzien van alle mogelijke informatie over het Albanese dorp, wat er te zien is, restaurants en winkeltjes.
Je hebt wel een auto nodig om er te komen. Het oude dorpje ligt afgelegen in de bergen ten zuiden van Palermo.
Parkeren kan meestal in het steile oplopende straatje voor de deur van het appartement. Let dan wel goed op voor de (te) hoge stoeprand !
Op maandagavond zijn alle restaurants op loop afstand gesloten. Dus moet je echt verder weg om iets te kunnen eten. Tevens zijn er een aantal bakkers en restaurants die Google vermeldt niet meer aanwezig of gesloten.
Wat wij gemist hebben is een waterkoker.
Wellicht per persoon 2 verschillende dikte hoofdkussens op het bed neerleggen, maar verder zijn er geen op- en/of aanmerkingen. Want het appartement is ons echt super bevallen. Zeker 1 van de beste die wij op Sicilië hebben bezocht de afgelopen 3,5 week.

This magnificent gem is located in a super lovely unique mountain village outside of Palermo. Nina and her family are a joyous very generous and awesome hosts that go out of their way to make everything perfect with our too short stay in Nina's beautiful spacious apartment. They are a beautiful family and I would lbe so happy to have them as my family.
We made dinner and had everything we needed for a delicious home cooked healthy meal. There is a cafe on the corner that serves excellent espresso and spectacular cannoli-and they even have a gluten free cannoli that was super yummy.
Everyone in this village were very genuine and the history of this village is extremely facinating. Piana degli Albanesi was founded about 500 years ago by a group of Albanian refugees who fled from the Turkish invasion. The community has their own language in addition to Italian which is ancient Albanian Arbereshe.
There is an outdoor art exhibit around part of the town that I highly recommend walking around to see along with Nina's many other recommendations.
There is a lake and the town is situated on a gorgeous mountain that rises above the town.
The bed is very comfortable, perhaps the most comfortable bed on my trip in Sicily! Everything was spotless. There is a washer which we appreciated. The shower was lovely and roomy. There was plenty of comfortable space and it was great having access to a balcony to see the view.
I highly recommend La Case De Nina. I wish we could have stayed much longer. I hope to come back in the near future.

La struttura è un appartamento nuovo, luminoso, pulitissimo, spazioso, completo di tutto. La colazione non era compresa, ma la proprietaria, gentilissima e simpatica, ha lasciato snack e cialde x il caffè . A 10 passi dall'alloggio c'è la pasticceria Di Noto dove si trovano ottime specialità dolci, salate e tanta cordialità.
La distanza dal centro e dalle migliori attrazioni è veramente poca. Si raggiungono con una piacevole passeggiata nella bella cittadina.
Parcheggio comodo e sicuro davanti alla struttura.
