About this space

A private riverside cabin tucked into the same spectacular acreage as the Boulder River Cabin, this guest house is its own thing -- a simple, comfortable retreat with river views, a full kitchen, and enough room for a small group or couple looking to disappear for a few days. Watch the Boulder River from the windows, fall asleep to the sound of moving water, and wake up with nowhere you have to be.

The cabin sleeps up to 4 and is available on its own or alongside the adjacent main house (listed separately). If you`re not renting both units, please note that another party may be staying in the main house on the property during your visit.

Pets are welcome. No fires during active burn restrictions. No shooting on the property.

Neighborhood

The Boulder River Valley is one of the most coveted corners of Montana -- remote, stunning, and completely off the tourist circuit. The Boulder River originates in the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness north of Yellowstone and is well known for rainbow and brown trout in the 15-18 inch range, with easy fishing access just half a mile from the property. Big Timber is 8 miles north -- a classic Montana small town with local eats and a surprisingly charming main street. Livingston is about 40 minutes west for groceries and more. Yellowstone`s North Entrance is about 1.5 hours south, making a day trip totally doable.

Getting around

A car is required. Parking is available on-site. The property is approximately 8 miles south of Big Timber on the Boulder River Road.

We understand plans can change, so here’s a quick rundown of our cancellation policy: - Full Refund: Cancel at least 30 days before check-in.
- 50% Refund: Cancel between 7 and 30 days before check-in.
- No Refund: Cancel fewer than 7 days before check-in.
- Special Case: Full refund within 48 hours of booking if canceled at least 14 days before check-in.
