Welcome to Hickory Haven A-Frame, a boutique modern cabin located near Patoka Lake and French Lick, Indiana. Designed for relaxation, connection, and outdoor adventure, this cozy A-frame retreat is perfect for family vacations, couples getaways, golf trips, fishing trips, and small group gatherings.

We built this lake lake house as a legacy home for our children. We wanted to create memories while they were young and reminisce about as they got older. This home was thoughtfully and intentionally built, thinking about us growing older together and spending many weekends/holidays with our family here. We enjoyed the process and the beauty of the land do much we decided to share the experience with YOU! We hope you respect our home and take pride in treating it as if it’s your own home. Sleeping Arrangements and Bathrooms

Hickory Haven comfortably sleeps up to 10 guests.

• Primary Bedroom: King bed
This bedroom is like sleeping in a cave. The whole bedroom is color drenched with blackout curtains. There are garment hangers on the wall by the window and plenty of storage in the nightstands to unpack. The TV and fireplace create a comfortable relaxing ambience. It has an en suite that offers a large shower and a standalone bathtub with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided

• Bunk Room: 3 Twin XL beds and 1 Full bed
This is a fun room that houses many options for sleeping. Four beds are available, a dresser to unpack, a closet with extra blankets and pillows, a pack and play, a booster seat, and a nightstand with a charging station and extra plugs. This bedroom is located beside the hallway bathroom.

• Upstairs Loft: Queen bed

The loft bedroom has high ceilings with a fan and a queen size bed with a charging station and outlets built into the headboard. Plenty of storage with a dresser and a closet. Open the double doors to the Juliet balcony while you drink your morning coffee and feel free to use a yoga mat and Weights to Zen out.

Each bathroom includes a bathtub shower, combo, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Towels and linens are provided.

Kitchen & Living Space

The fully stocked kitchen is perfect for cooking and gathering. Guests can enjoy a coffee and tea station with a combination drip coffee maker and Keurig, coffee pods, tea, hot chocolate, and a hot water kettle. Creamer and sugar are provided
the chef’s kitchen is equipped with all utensils, pots and pans you can think of. All small appliances are located in the pantry in the hall below the microwave. Plenty of storage in a large sink with a separate water bottle filler station. All water is on a water filtration system. The refrigerator has plenty of room in the freezer offers an icemaker.

A large banquette was created to seat 10 for card games, many meals and memories.

The living area includes comfortable couch seating, Smart TV, electric fireplace, and dimmer lighting throughout the home to create a cozy cabin atmosphere.


The Loft

Upstairs offers a large restoration hardware down filled sectional couch, with a large TV, coloring station for kids, board games, galore, and mood lighting on the back of the TV.

The upstairs bathroom has a bath, bathtub and shower with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided


The washer dryer combo is located at the entrance of the cabin. Detergent pods are provided as well as a desk mop, and a broom. The cabinet beside the washer and dryer has an iron and other amenities for the outdoor fireplace.

Hot tub towels are located in the basket by the couch, fire pit blankets are located in the hallway basket, and additional blankets are available in the downstairs and loft baskets.

Hickory Haven is conveniently located within walking distance of Osborn Boat Ramp, making it easy to launch your boat and enjoy

Boat rentals are available at:
• Patoka Lake Marina
• Hoosier Hills Marina

Both marinas offer pontoon rentals, fishing boats, kayaks, and fuel.

Fishing is allowed with a valid Indiana fishing license. Please note the shoreline is owned by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and may not be altered.

• No parties or events (unless coordinated with owner)
• No pets
• No smoking or vaping inside the home
• No campers, RVs, or trailers. Boats are allowed
• No unregistered guests without approval
• Quiet hours are 11PM – 8 AM
• Checkout time is 10 AM check-in 4:00pm

The home includes noise monitoring sensors, smoke detection (including vaping detection), and security sensors for safety and property protection.


SEPTIC SYSTEM NOTICE

The property is on a septic system.

• Flush toilet paper only
• Do not flush wipes or feminine products
• Do not pour grease down the sink
• Use reasonable amounts of water


TRASH INSTRUCTIONS

Place all bagged trash in the large trashcan by the barn.

• All trash must be bagged
• Do not leave trash outside
• If cans are full, leave tied bags next to the trash can
• Do not leave trash inside at checkout


HOT TUB GUIDELINES

• Shower before entering
• No glass in or around the hot tub
• Children must be supervised at all times
• Replace the hot tub cover after each use
• Do not adjust equipment settings

Maintenance Disclosure:
If the hot tub is unavailable due to maintenance during your stay, guests will receive a $20 credit per night.

*damaged hot tub top will result in $1000 replacement fee

Hickory Haven is located in a natural wooded and lake environment. Guests may experience insects, wildlife, weather changes, lake conditions, and occasional power or internet outages that are outside of our control.

Juliet balcony-do not jump or climb watch your children.
Please watch your children outside. Hot tub, firepit, stacked wood outside.
We are not responsible for any injuries that may occur.
The railing on the stairs DO NOT SLIDE DOWN.
Please watch children upstairs and make sure they don’t climb on the railing.
