Once in, we unpacked and settled in.
It is advertised as a 4 bedroom. It really is a 3 bedroom with loft. The first bedroom is on the main floor. The other sleeping areas are upstairs.
The upstairs has 2 bedrooms, on either side. In the middle of the 2 bedrooms is an open loft. Which is not exactly good for anyone. To access the other 2 bedrooms, you have to walk through the loft, giving no privacy at all. This really did not work for us.
The upstairs bathroom, to the right, was leaking down to the kitchen. When my son took a shower, or used the sink. So, after day one, when the leaking happened, that bathroom became totally unusable. This also was a problem for us.
The inside pool, though lovely, seemed to get cooler and cooler each day we stayed.
The first day, it seemed to be warm, and fine. Each day after, it was cooler and cooler. The last day, it was uncomfortable to use.
So, we are at, 1 bathroom, not usable, and 3 bedrooms, not the 4 bedrooms I booked.
This did hinder us, as I was expecting 4 bedrooms, and all the bathrooms to be usable, as advertised, when I booked.
It also advertises 2 living rooms. There is actually 1 living room and some small sofas, lined up, in rows, in the basement, in the corner.
You would have to put small children, upfront to see the TV, as the lines of seats, were level.
We also noticed lots of dust, on surfaces, and actual cobwebs in areas, the cleaning service should be told, what is not getting done. We paid, $350.00, for cleaning, and did not walk into a clean home.
We made the best of our stay, and enjoyed the dinners shows, Dollywood and the Smokey mountains. But, we feel, this was definitely not as advertised, and received less than we paid for.
If known, it only had 3 bedrooms, NOT 4 bedrooms, and a bathroom would be totally unusable, due to leaks in the kitchen, we would not have booked this home at all. I fully expected to get what was advertised, on booking.com.
